Birdcage Veil Headpiece Edinburgh Bride : Hannah looking absolutely beautiful in her bespoke headpiece and veil
I met Hannah at the Corn Exchange Wedding Show in Edinburgh earlier this year. We had a lot of fun trying on a number of headpieces and veils, but it was clear a birdcage veil headpiece was the one for Hannah! We arranged to meet at my studio shortly afterwards to plan her amazing headpiece and veil.

Odette Feathered Headpiece and detachable ivory birdcage veil for Hannah, our beautiful Edinburgh bride.
Hannah opted for our bespoke Odette headpiece in her choice of finishes and size; a true couture piece of beautiful millinery.

The Odette headpiece, inspired by Swan Lake, uses individually shaped, high quality, goose nagoire feathers and hand beaded lace sections.
Unlike previous bridal versions of the Odette headpiece, Hannah chose to focus on leaf shaped lace (rather than floral), all hand beaded with Swarovski pearls and few very subtle clear sequins for light reflection. It took several hours to complete the beading work, but the results are absolutely stunning!
Each of the high quality glossy goose nagoire feathers were individually trimmed to shape and sewn in place with care.
The headpiece was finished off with an ivory birdcage veil, which we chose not to attach to the headpiece itself. Being a detachable veil meant that Hannah could remove it later in the day and wear her Odette headpiece on its own.

Hannah opted for an ivory birdcage veil that was detachable, so that she could remove it later in the day and could wear her Odette bridal headpiece on its own.
Congratulations to Hannah and David! It looks like you had a truly spectacular day!
