Bespoke Tulle Wedding Veil Bathgate West Lothian
This timeless wedding veil was created for our lovely bride Emma, who wanted a classic look to complement her 1950’s style circle wedding dress. Although Emma does not live in West Lothian, where my home studio is located, I was able to communicate with Emma over email, send lots of photos and post fabric samples, to ensure the process was a smooth one for a bride further afield. We’ve worked with brides and wedding guests who live outwith the local area many times before – either just by email, Skype, or if possible just one or two visits to the studio, so I was confident the results would be superb!
By choosing a bespoke, custom made tulle wedding veil, Emma was able to choose her favourite materials, finishes and length to suit her own style.
Emma opted for a very soft, beautiful tulle, which I ordered in from my favourite couture fabrics supplier. It is just the most wonderful quality tulle, without any of the stiffness or scratchiness, which is often the case with less expensive tulles.
Having looked at a few options for a bow to finish the top of the veil, we decided to go for an ivory duchesse satin bow. Duchesse satin is great; it is a slightly stiffer type of satin with a dull finish to it, so that there is none of the high shine of some satins. A truly elegant choice!
Congratulations Emma on your marriage earlier this month and a huge thank you for commissioning me to make this elegant veil for you.
